I’m going to make this one quick. In my review of MLB 15: The Show, I complained about system performance issues that caused the game to stutter and lag 5 or 10 times per game. This isn’t just some minor nitpick. It’s totally game-breaking considering how important your precise timing is in a baseball video game.
I wanted to give Sony the benefit of the doubt. Who knows, maybe some unfortunate circumstance was to blame. Maybe the game performed perfectly through its testing process, but then the flaw was introduced when the game was converted to disc, and it was shipped out before Sony noticed, and not even online patching could fix the problem.
Well, nope. The same stuttering issue plagues this version as well. It might even be worse! So, to hell with the normal review. Just don’t buy this game.
